Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with small additions of aluminum and titanium. This material stands out for its excellent resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures and can also be used in sulfur-containing environments. Known as 2.4851, it offers very good scaling resistance, high heat tolerance, and remains stable at temperatures up to 1150 °C. The alloy also resists carburizing conditions and aggressive gases.
