Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy, enhanced with small amounts of aluminum and titanium. This material stands out for its excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures and can also be used in sulphurous atmospheres. Known as 2.4851, it offers outstanding resistance to scaling and maintains high heat resistance, making it suitable for use at temperatures up to 1150 °C. It also performs well in carburizing environments and against aggressive gases.
