Inconel 601 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with small additions of aluminum and titanium. This material provides outstanding resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures and can be used in sulfur-containing environments. Known as 2.4851, it offers excellent scaling resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 1150 °C. It also shows good resistance to carburizing conditions and aggressive gases.
