The bar offers outstanding cold and hot formability and is well-suited for soft soldering, but it is not recommended for welding or brazing in reducing atmospheres due to hydrogen embrittlement. It also has good corrosion resistance and a smooth surface, although minor handling or storage marks may be present. The copper square bar is widely used in building decoration, shipbuilding, and for making electric lines, but has limited machinability and is not suitable for processes like sweating or certain types of brazing.
