The copper strip offered is made from oxygen-containing copper. The grade is electrolytically refined and known under the material designation Cu-ETP. The tape is very electrically and thermally conductive. Due to the oxygen content and hydrogen embrittlement, the material is not suitable for welding. The material is excellent for cold and hot forming and has good chemical resistance. It is insensitive to sea air, drinking and service water, non-oxidizing acids and alkalis. The copper tape is not resistant to ammonia, halides, cyanide, oxidizing acids and sea water. The material is not machinable.
