This copper strip is manufactured from oxygen-containing, electrolytically refined copper, known as Cu-ETP. It features excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. However, due to its oxygen content and vulnerability to hydrogen embrittlement, it is not suitable for welding. The material is ideal for both cold and hot forming and offers strong chemical resistance. It withstands exposure to sea air, drinking and service water, as well as non-oxidizing acids and alkalis. Please note, copper strip is not resistant to ammonia, halides, cyanides, oxidizing acids, or seawater, and it cannot be machined.
