Material 2.4952 is an austenitic, high-temperature nickel-chromium alloy. In addition to manganese, chromium, and cobalt, this alloy also contains aluminum and titanium, which allow it to be hardened. Nimonic 80a stands out for its excellent resistance to oxidation, as well as pitting, crevice, and surface corrosion. It is insoluble in alkaline solutions and offers strong resistance to acids. This nickel alloy maintains high tensile and creep strength at temperatures up to 815°C, making it highly creep-resistant.
