These stainless steel round rods (grade 1.4310 / X10CrNi18-8, also known as AISI 301) are produced primarily in Germany under the Evek brand, ensuring high quality and reliable standards. The rods offer a length tolerance of +/-2mm, with corrosion resistance and tensile strength ranging from 600 to 950 MPa. They are suitable for use in demanding applications and are commonly used for manufacturing spring components due to their excellent hardening ability during cold forming. This material is relatively magnetic because its microstructure contains a significant amount of martensite after processing. Key features include: - High-quality stainless steel, not imported from China - Good corrosion resistance - Density of 7.9 g/cm³ - Welding temperature up to 200°C - Forging temperature range: 1200°C to 900°C Typical chemical composition (%): C: 0.05-0.15, Si: 2.0, Mn: 2.0, P: 0.045, S: 0.015, Cr: 16.0-19.0, Ni: 6.0-9.5, N: 0.11, Mo: 0.80 Please refer to the attached data sheet for detailed technical documentation.
