The stainless steel rods are made from grade 1.4310 (AISI 301, EN X10CrNi18-8), offering good corrosion resistance and high tensile strength (600-950 MPa). They are suitable for applications requiring durability and resilience, such as spring components. The material features a density of 7.9 g/cm³, a forging temperature range of 1200°C to 900°C, and can be welded up to 200°C. Please allow for a length tolerance of +/-2mm. 1.4310 is a compact version of 1.4301, designed for rapid hardening during cold forming due to its high chromium and controlled nickel content. Its structure becomes relatively magnetic during processing, making it ideal for manufacturing spring elements.
