This high-quality stainless steel round rod (AISI 301, material number 1.4310, EN designation X10CrNi18-8) is primarily manufactured in Germany and offers excellent corrosion resistance. With a length tolerance of +/-2mm, it is ideal for use in applications requiring strong and reliable spring components. The rod features a good tensile strength of 600–950 MPa, can be welded at temperatures up to 200°C, and forged between 1200°C and 900°C. Its density is 7.9 g/cm³. 1.4310 stainless steel is a compact version of 1.4301, featuring a higher chromium content and lower nickel, resulting in a metastable austenitic structure that hardens quickly during cold working. This makes it suitable for spring applications, as the formation of martensite during processing imparts relative magnetism to the material. All products are free from imports from China and are produced to maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
