V4A sheet metal is crafted from austenitic stainless steel that is stabilized with titanium, ensuring excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. Thanks to the addition of molybdenum, stainless steel sheet 1.4571 is suitable for acidic environments and can be welded using all standard methods, without the need for post-weld heat treatment.

Even after welding, 316Ti sheet metal maintains strong protection against intergranular corrosion. Its titanium stabilization makes the steel hard and not suitable for mirror polishing. Stainless steel 1.4571 is highly resistant to pitting and is ideal for food contact applications.
