V4A sheet is produced from austenitic stainless steel, stabilized with titanium for excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. Thanks to the addition of molybdenum, stainless steel sheet 1.4571 (316Ti) can be used in acidic environments. It is easy to weld using any standard process and does not require heat treatment after welding.

Even after welding, 316Ti sheet offers strong protection against intercrystalline corrosion. Its titanium stabilization makes it hard and not suitable for mirror polishing. Stainless steel sheet 1.4571 is highly resistant to pitting corrosion and is approved for food industry use.
