V4A sheet metal is crafted from austenitic stainless steel that is stabilized with titanium, offering excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. Its molybdenum content allows stainless steel 1.4571 to be used in acidic environments. The sheet is easy to weld using any standard welding method and does not require heat treatment afterward.

Even after welding, 316Ti sheet metal remains highly resistant to intergranular corrosion thanks to its titanium stabilization. This makes the steel very hard and unsuitable for mirror polishing. Stainless steel sheet 1.4571 is highly resistant to pitting and is approved for food industry applications.
