The V4A sheet is produced from stainless austenitic steel, stabilized with titanium for excellent intergranular corrosion resistance. Thanks to added molybdenum, stainless steel sheet 1.4571 is suitable for acidic environments. It can be welded using all standard methods, with no post-weld heat treatment required.

Even after welding, 316Ti sheet metal maintains strong resistance to intergranular corrosion. Due to titanium stabilization, this steel is very hard and not suitable for mirror polishing. Stainless steel 1.4571 is highly resistant to pitting and safe for food-related applications.
