V4A sheet is crafted from austenitic stainless steel, stabilized with titanium for excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. The addition of molybdenum allows stainless steel 1.4571 to be used in acidic environments. It is easily weldable with all common methods and does not require post-weld heat treatment.

Even after welding, 316Ti sheet metal maintains strong protection against intercrystalline corrosion. Due to its titanium stabilization, this steel is very hard and not suitable for mirror polishing. Stainless steel sheet 1.4571 is highly resistant to pitting and ideal for food industry use.
