The V4A sheet is crafted from stainless austenitic steel, stabilized with titanium for excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. With added molybdenum, stainless steel sheet 1.4571 is suitable for use in acidic environments. It is highly weldable using any standard welding process, and no post-weld heat treatment is required.

Even after welding, 316Ti sheet metal remains highly resistant to intercrystalline corrosion. The titanium stabilization makes this steel exceptionally hard, which means it is not suitable for mirror polishing. Stainless steel sheet 1.4571 is also extremely resistant to pitting and is safe for use with food products.
