Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten and small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is suitable for both cold and hot forming processes. It offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. The alloy also has excellent weldability and can be joined using all standard welding methods.
