Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is highly suitable for both cold and hot forming processes. It offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is resistant to both mineral and organic acids, as well as seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It is easily weldable using all standard welding methods.
