Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with small amounts of carbon and silicon. It is ideal for both cold and hot forming, and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is highly resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. This alloy is also easy to weld using all standard methods.
