Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with low amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is excellent for both cold and hot forming, and offers exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is highly resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also features good weldability and can be joined using all standard welding methods.
