Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, plus minimal carbon and silicon. This material is suitable for both hot and cold forming and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Alloy 2.4819 resists attack from mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It is easy to weld using all standard welding techniques.
