Alloy C-276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is ideal for both cold and hot forming processes and offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is highly resistant to both mineral and organic acids, as well as seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also has good weldability and can be joined using all common welding methods.
