Alloy c 276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, and small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is ideal for both cold and hot forming, offering outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is highly resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also features good weldability and can be joined using all common welding methods.
