Material 2.4068 is commercially pure nickel with a nickel content of 99.2%. Nickel 201 stands out for its excellent resistance to corrosion and alkalis. It is easily machinable across a wide temperature range and offers high ductility. The material also has strong resistance to acids such as hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid, and is unaffected by organic acids like acetic acid, citric acid, and alcohols. Nickel 2.4068 also performs well in oxidizing environments. Nickel 201 is ferromagnetic and is an excellent conductor of both heat and electricity.
