Material 2.4068 is technically pure nickel, with a nickel content of 99.2%. Nickel 201 offers outstanding corrosion resistance and performs well in alkaline environments. It is easily machinable across a broad temperature range and has high ductility. Nickel 201 also resists acids such as hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acid, as well as organic acids like acetic and citric acid and alcohols. The 2.4068 nickel tube maintains its resistance under oxidizing conditions. Nickel 201 is ferromagnetic and is an excellent conductor of electricity and heat.
