Material 2.4068 is a technically pure nickel, containing 99.2% nickel. Nickel 201 stands out for its outstanding corrosion resistance and excellent resistance to alkalis. It is easy to machine over a wide temperature range and features high ductility. This material resists acids such as hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acid, and is also not affected by organic acids like acetic acid, citric acid, and alcohols. Nickel tube 2.4068 also performs well under oxidizing conditions. Nickel 201 is ferromagnetic and offers excellent electrical and thermal conductivity.
