Material 2.4068, also known as Nickel 201, is a technically pure nickel with a composition of 99.2% nickel. It offers outstanding corrosion resistance and performs well in alkaline environments. Nickel 201 is easy to machine over a broad temperature range and is highly ductile. It provides excellent resistance to acids such as hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acid, and is unaffected by organic acids like acetic acid, citric acid, and alcohols. This grade also resists oxidation and is both ferromagnetic and an excellent conductor of heat and electricity.
