The brass square bar we offer is made from 2.0401 material, also known as Ms58 or CuZn39Pb3. This is a copper-tin-lead alloy, containing up to 59% copper, 1.7-2.8% lead, with the balance being tin. 2.0401 is well-suited for hot forming, but not ideal for cold forming. It is corrosion-resistant, highly polishable, and known for its outstanding machinability and suitability for automatic machining. The preferred joining method is soft soldering. This brass rod is suitable for resistance welding but not recommended for gas welding.
