Steel chequer plate 3/4.5mm - 8/9.5mm Steel chequer plate 100-1000mm
Steel chequer plate 3/4.5mm - 8/9.5mm Steel chequer plate cut to size 100-1000mm
Important: Sheet metal cuts are not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Scratches cannot be ruled out. Surface pure industrial quality. Cut with guillotine shears. Not all sheets in protective film. Please enquire separately if surface quality is relevant for you - we will try to find a solution for you.
Sheet steel cut to size is a flat finished product made of steel. It is extremely hard, robust, resistant and stable. Steel owes all this to its chemical composition. Steel itself is an alloy of iron and carbon. The carbon content in the alloy is a maximum of 2 %. Steel is one of the most versatile construction materials. It can be recycled almost indefinitely. Steel is easily processed by casting, rolling, forging and welding. Customized sheet steel can be cold or hot rolled.
There are two types of sheet steel: Thin sheet and heavy plate. The difference between these sheets lies in their thickness. Thin sheet has a thickness of up to 3 mm. Heavy plate has a thickness of over 3 mm. Among other things, these sheet types differ according to rolling processes. As a rule, thin sheets are cold-drawn. Heavy plates are usually hot-rolled.
