Alloy 2.4858 is a fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy, stabilized with titanium and containing copper and molybdenum. This material offers excellent resistance to reducing, oxidizing, and organic acids, as well as to alkalis and chloride alkalis. Incoloy® 825 stands out for its high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It can be readily formed both hot and cold and is well-suited for machining.
