Material 2.4858 is a fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy stabilized with titanium, and also contains copper and molybdenum. It offers outstanding resistance to reducing, oxidizing, and organic acids, as well as high resistance to alkalis and chlorinated alkalis. Incoloy® 825 is known for its exceptional performance against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. This material can be easily hot- and cold-formed and is suitable for machining.
