The material 2.4858 is a fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy stabilized with titanium, and also contains copper and molybdenum. It offers outstanding resistance to reducing, oxidizing, and organic acids, as well as excellent performance against alkalis and chloride alkalis. Incoloy® 825 is known for its durability against pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking. The material can be easily shaped by hot or cold working and is also suitable for machining.
