HAYNES® 25 (UNS R30605) is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy known for exceptional high-temperature strength and excellent resistance to oxidation up to 980°C during extended exposure, as well as outstanding sulfidation resistance. It can be manufactured and shaped using conventional methods and is suitable for casting. The alloy also offers impressive resistance to metal wear.
Haynes 25® is the strongest of the formable cobalt alloys, providing superb strength and oxidation resistance up to 2000°F. It is best hot worked between 1900°F and 2300°F and is more suitable for bending, pressing, and drawing than for cold forming. L605 alloy is particularly preferred for these operations.
