HAYNES® 25 (UNS R30605) is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy known for outstanding high-temperature strength and excellent resistance to oxidation up to 980°C during prolonged use, as well as superior resistance to sulfidation. It is suitable for various manufacturing processes, including casting, and offers excellent wear resistance.
This alloy is the strongest among workable cobalt alloys, maintaining excellent temperature and oxidation resistance up to 2000°F. Haynes 25™ is best suited for hot working at temperatures between 1900°F and 2300°F and is ideal for bending, pressing, and drawing rather than cold forming.
