HAYNES® 25 (UNS R30605) is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy known for its outstanding high-temperature strength and excellent resistance to oxidation up to 980°C during extended exposure. It also offers exceptional resistance to sulfidation and is highly resistant to metal wear. The alloy can be processed using conventional manufacturing methods and is suitable for casting.
Among workable cobalt alloys, Haynes 25® is the strongest. It maintains excellent strength and oxidation resistance up to 2000°F, and is hot workable between 1900°F and 2300°F. Alloy L605 is better suited for bending, pressing, and drawing operations than for cold forming.
Evek GmbH’s online shop supplies material 2.4964 and ships internationally. As a trusted supplier, we ensure safe and convenient delivery of various materials.
HAYNES® 25 is easy to form and weld. It can be forged or hot worked, provided it is sufficiently heated to 1205°C throughout. The alloy has good ductility, making it suitable for cold forming as well.
Main properties of HAYNES® 25 include:
- Good ductility
- Excellent high-temperature resistance
- Good resistance to oxidation
- Good weldability
Typical applications for HAYNES® 25:
