They are suitable for spring components due to their ability to harden rapidly during cold forming, resulting in a structure that is relatively magnetic. The rods have a density of 7.9 g/cm³ and can be welded at temperatures up to 200 °C. Forging temperatures range from 1200 °C to 900 °C. Length tolerance is +/-2 mm.Chemical composition (in %): C: 0.05–0.15, Si: 2.0, Mn: 2.0, P: 0.045, S: 0.015, Cr: 16.0–19.0, Ni: 6.0–9.5, N: 0.11, Mo: 0.80.Ideal for use where high strength and good corrosion resistance are required, especially in spring and engineering applications.
