Product images show bars at production length; delivered sawn rods may look different.Our stainless steel round rods (AISI 301 / 1.4310 / X10CrNi18-8) are produced mainly in Germany, ensuring high quality and competitive pricing without any imports from China. Length tolerance is +/-2mm.These rods offer good corrosion resistance, a tensile strength of 600–950 MPa, and a density of 7.9 g/cm³. They can be welded up to 200°C and forged between 1200°C and 900°C. The 1.4310 grade is a more compact version of 1.4301, with high chromium and controlled nickel content. Its austenitic structure hardens rapidly during cold working, which makes it suitable for spring components. The final structure is relatively magnetic due to shear-induced martensite.Typical chemical composition (%): C: 0.05–0.15, Si: 2.0, Mn: 2.0, P: 0.045, S: 0.015, Cr: 16.0–19.0, Ni: 6.0–9.5, N: 0.11, Mo: 0.80.
