The rods feature a length tolerance of +/-2 mm and a density of 7.9 g/cm³. They can be welded up to 200°C and forged between 1200°C and 900°C.The 1.4310 stainless steel alloy has a higher chromium content and lower nickel content, resulting in a metastable austenitic structure that hardens rapidly during cold working.
