It offers exceptional protection against aggressive oxidizing and mineral acids, including sulfuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids. Alloy C22 is highly resistant to chlorine gas, acid mixtures with sulfuric acid, and demonstrates excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting—especially at high temperatures.
