It offers outstanding corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments, even at high temperatures. This material is highly resistant to a wide range of acids, including sulphuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids, as well as acid mixtures and chlorine gas. It also demonstrates excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting, particularly in elevated temperature conditions.
