Round steel 1.4571 is a stainless austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with the addition of molybdenum and stabilized with titanium. The steel grade has good resistance to corrosion. Due to the titanium content, it also offers good resistance to intercrystalline corrosion both in the welded state and in continuous operation up to 400 °C. The maximum application temperature is + 550 °C. The steel has good forgeability and excellent weldability.

V4A round steel is well suited for cold forming but cannot be polished. It has good processing properties and is highly stable, especially at high temperatures. The steel can be used at low temperatures down to -50 °C.
