It offers high corrosion resistance, including protection against intergranular corrosion—even after welding or continuous operation up to 400°C. The maximum application temperature is +550°C. This steel is easy to forge and weld. V4A round steel is ideal for cold forming (not suitable for polishing) and maintains stability at high and low temperatures, usable down to -50°C.
