This grade offers excellent corrosion resistance and is particularly resistant to intergranular corrosion due to the titanium content, whether welded or used in continuous service up to 400°C. The maximum operating temperature is 550°C. The steel is highly forgeable and weldable.V4A round steel is ideal for cold forming, offers good processing characteristics, and maintains stability at high temperatures. It is not suitable for polishing.
