Round steel 1.4571 is an austenitic stainless steel alloyed with chromium and nickel, includes molybdenum, and is stabilized with titanium. This grade offers excellent corrosion resistance. Thanks to its titanium content, it is highly resistant to intergranular corrosion, even after welding or during continuous use up to 400°C. Its maximum operating temperature is +550°C. The steel is easy to forge and is highly weldable.

V4A round steel is also ideal for cold forming, though it cannot be polished. It features good workability and stability, especially at elevated temperatures, and can be used in environments as cold as -50°C.
