Round steel 1.4571 is an austenitic stainless steel alloyed with chromium and nickel, enhanced with molybdenum and stabilized using titanium. This grade offers excellent corrosion resistance, including protection against intergranular corrosion, both after welding and during continuous use at temperatures up to 400°C. The steel can be used at temperatures as high as 550°C, and is known for its good forgeability and outstanding weldability.

V4A round steel is ideal for cold forming, though it cannot be polished. It has excellent processing characteristics and maintains high stability even at elevated temperatures. It is also suitable for use at low temperatures down to -50°C.
