The 1.4404 round bar is an austenitic stainless steel alloyed with chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. Featuring low carbon content, it provides outstanding resistance to non-oxidizing acids and chloride-containing environments. This material is not prone to intergranular corrosion, and it is easily weldable and suitable for cold forming. It can be used at temperatures up to 550°C, though continuous use should not exceed 300°C.
