It contains approximately 70% nickel, 15% chromium, 7% iron, and 2.5% titanium, with smaller amounts of aluminum, niobium, cobalt, and manganese totaling about 4%. This alloy is known for its excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, as well as high strength at temperatures up to 700°C. It offers high tensile strength and resistance to creep fracture. X-750 round bars are suitable for use in environments with both oxidizing and reducing agents, and they provide excellent resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking in the fully precipitation-hardened condition.
