2.4669 (Alloy X-750) is a precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium-iron alloy, containing approximately 70% nickel and 15% chromium. Key alloying elements include iron (about 7%) and titanium (about 2.5%), with aluminum, niobium, cobalt, and manganese making up around 4% combined. Alloy X-750 offers excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, maintaining high strength at temperatures up to 700°C. It demonstrates outstanding tensile and creep rupture strength, and round bars made from this alloy are highly resistant to various industrial corrosive environments, both oxidizing and reducing. In its fully precipitation-hardened state, Alloy X-750 also shows excellent resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking.
