Material 2.4858 is a fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy, stabilized with titanium and containing copper and molybdenum. It offers exceptional resistance to reducing, oxidizing, and organic acids, as well as to alkalis and chloride solutions. Incoloy® 825 is highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The alloy is easy to hot or cold form and provides good machinability.
