Material 2.4858 is a fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy stabilized with titanium, and includes copper and molybdenum as additional elements. It offers excellent resistance to reducing, oxidizing, and organic acids, as well as high resistance to alkalis and chloride solutions. Incoloy® 825 stands out for its exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking. This material is easily hot and cold formed and is also well-suited for machining.
